In 2019, Battle of the Year returned to Montpellier, France. At the same time, the event celebrated its 30th anniversary. In the final, Artistreet from Korea faced Last Squad from France. In the end, the judges awarded the victory to Last Squad, while the French crowd celebrated the triumph of their home team enthusiastically.
